Join famous Inupiat guide Robert Thompson on an incredible float boat safari through the Alaska’s stunning Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)
You will depart from the town of Fairbanks Alaska and fly north to the most northerly Inupiat outpost of Kaktovik. From there Robert and infamous bush pilot (Walt Audi) will fly you to your river camp high in the Brooks Range.
Here you will spend a week gliding gracefully down the HulaHula river, spotting game as diverse as Arctic wolf, caribou, grizzly bear, moose, and bald headed eagle. Each night you will pitch camp on a different and beautiful sand bar, and Robert will guide you on bracing walks around the local hills and surrounding tundra before you rest for the night and eat well on open fires.

If rafting isnt your thing Robert offers the same format of fly camping trip without the boats, walking from camp to camp with remote float plane drop off and pick up. the choice is yours.
Robert Thompson is the top guide in this remote and controversial reserve formally known in congress as the 1002.
10 percent of the cost of the trip will be donated to the charity that Robert heads to fight the proposed drilling for oil in the rich and diverse habitat.
