Dan Bahadur Tamang/tiger tracking and elephant back Safari's Nepal

Dhan Bahadur Tamang, or Danny as he prefers to be called, is presently working in the capacity of Chief Naturalist at Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge in Chitwan, Nepal.

He has more that 30 years of experience in this area and is an expert tiger tracker. He has contributed a lot of his expertise to the International Trust for Nature Conservation (ITNC).

His experience of wildlife, flora and fauna extends beyond the boundaries of Nepal. Danny has had training and experience in USA, UK and Africa too where he has spent time in the past often as a guest of his loyal and supportive clients.

Danny is without doubt one of the top bush guides of the entire kingdom of Nepal.

He has a vast knowledge of the Nepali Terrai (low land Sal forest jungle and grassland habitat) with an indepth understanding of all endemic species of all resident mammals including the Bengal tiger, sloth bear, gaur buffalo, Asian one horn rhino, Asian leopard, and the hugely diverse array of birdlife (over 450 species) that inhabit the forest region.

Our remote Elephant-back Safaris throughout the Bardia National Park and the surrounding Karnali valley of far western Nepal lead by Danny and his team of trackers and porters promises to be a unique jungle adventure.
