Craig Ferreira/white shark diving expeditions -South Africa
Craig A Ferreira is one of the few pioneers in white shark conservation, research, filming and diving. Craig was one of the leading White Shark Research Project team members directly responsible for having the white shark declared a protected species in South Africa in 1991.
Craig has personally worked with several thousand individual great white sharks and has tagged over five hundred of these animals. Other than conducting noted population dynamics research on these animals, Craig has lectured all over the world, has been featured in dozens of international documentaries and has conducted pioneering behavioural research on white sharks, including free diving with them. He was also a guest of honour speaker at the prestigious Royal Geographic Society in London.
You can join Craig on one of his personal shark discovery expeditions which he conducts in collaboration with Olly Suzi expeditions several times a year.
On these expeditions Craig will teach you a great deal about several different species of large shark, he will take you diving with these animals, allow you to assist in tag and release of certain species of sharks and he will provide you with some riveting lectures concerning white shark research, conservation, behaviour and shark attack.
