Olly and Suzi/ art expeditions-worldwide.

 

For the past 20 years Olly and Suzi have made over 40 expeditions to wild and remote Arctic, desert, ocean and jungle regions on all continents in search of predators and their prey.

Over the years spent in the bush they have amassed a range of diverse skills and experience relevant to their work both as artists and guides in remote regions.

Olly and Suzi have lead clients on a variety of extreme expeditions from the oceans to polar regions. Olly has specialised in his work as a scuba diving instructor, underwater guide and expedition medic. They are both passionate about the Arctic and the African bush and spend many months a year in both these remote regions. Olly has worked as medic on Mount Kenya and has run commercial scuba-diving bases in the Kisiti Marine Reserve in Kenya and worldwide aboard the privately owned super yaght ArcticP. Olly and Suzi spend a great deal of time on foot tracking animals which is their life-long passion. In addition to their animal-tracking experience Olly is trained to an Advanced level in tactical-tracking.

Olly and Suzi's wilderness experience, training and qualifications include;

PADI OWSI scuba instructor (over 1000 dives), HSC part 4, MFA instructor, Dan o2 admin instructor, recompression chamber assistant; Suzi is a trained to PADI Advanced diver and is first-aid trained. Together they have dived in temperate, tropical and Antarctic waters. Both Olly and Suzi are dry-suit trained. 1992-1995 Olly served as a combat medic in; 144 Parachute Squadron V, RAMC; a reserve unit of the British Army; passed Combat Medical Technician (CMT 3). 1994 passed B.A.T.L.S (battlefield advanced trauma life support) course and was an assistant course instructor on an 8 month part time Patrol Medics Course (co/MSU H.A.C). Qualified Free-fall parachutist- AFF/Cat 8. Basic and advanced Arctic/winter/mountain survival courses in Cairngorms, Lapland and Alaska; Jungle survival training -(Borneo/Nepal/and Brunei); Passed South Africa's POLI/SEC accredited basic and advanced tactical man-tracking courses (co/SA Special Task Force chief tracking instructor Kubaan Lowrens); Tiger tracking (6 weeks attached to the ITNC's tiger tracking team in Karnali Valley, Nepal); Passed F.G.A.S.A dangerous game guiding heavy rifle course; passed A.N.T BLS refresher and basic African snake bite course.
